Nickel chloride monohydrate (NiCl₂·H₂O) is a golden Yellow Crystal crystalline solid with deliquescent properties, soluble in water and ethanol. Primarily used in nickel electroplating, catalyst preparation, and ammonia absorption, it also serves in specialty chemical synthesis. Classified as a Group 1 carcinogen due to nickel toxicity, strict safety protocols including PPE and ventilation are required during handling
